There are many different types of available funding to support families and Playtime we accept children in receipt of 2, 3 and 4 year old (EEE) Early Education Entitlement. This comes into effect from the term after the child’s second or third birthday.
Current Early Education Entitlement available:
2 year old FRA early education entitlement: 15 hours (Families in receipt of additional government support)
2 year old working entitlement: 15 hours - effective from April 2024
3 and 4 year old universal early education entitlement: 15 hours
3 and 4 year old working early education entitlement: 30hours

9 month old working entitlement: 15 hours - effective from 1 September 2024
9 month old and 2 year old working entitlement to increase too 30 hours from september 2025
Please note:
Early education entitlement is provided for 38 weeks per year (school year)
At playtime you can use your eee term time only (over 38 weeks) or stretched (over 52 weeks)
Every family is entitled to the universal 15 hours EEE for 3 & 4 year olds

Please note you can only claim a maximum of 10 entitlement hours per day.
for all places receiving working education entitlement, a £2.50 meal plan is added on each funded session.
