What is the Rainbow Cabin?

The Rainbow Cabin is our specially crafted area for children with unique needs. We understand that the bustling atmosphere of a traditional nursery may be overwhelming for some children, particularly those with speech and language needs, autism, ADHD, and other distinctive requirements. That's why we've meticulously designed The Rainbow Cabin to be a structured and soothing environment, tailored to cater to the individual needs of each child.

Resources and Curriculum

For children with SEN, we recognise the importance of tailored support and individualised learning experiences. Our approach is backed by a specialised curriculum approved on by experts in the field, ensuring that your child receives the highest quality care and education. We believe in the power of small group sessions, with 4-5 children with two staff, allowing for a more focused and personalised experience. This smaller ratio fosters a sense of security and comfort, creating an ideal setting for your child's growth and development.

Within this area, we have a variety of resources and activities that encourage the use of language and enhance vocabulary acquisition. Our collection of books, interactive games, and language-building toys along with circle times and adult led learning opportunities offer chances for children to improve their articulation and express their thoughts effectively.

Working in pARTNERSHIP

We understand that effective communication skills and support are vital for a child's overall development, and our special designated area for promoting speech and language and SEN provision reflects this understanding. We aim to empower each child to express themselves confidently, fostering their independence and nurturing positive relationships with peers and adults alike. We often work in partnership with other healthcare providers, occupational therapists, speech and language experts and more to provide tailored assistance to those who need a little extra support meeting the challenges, joys, and hurdles that come with growing up.
