Mealtimes:

At Playtime we believe that a healthy and balanced diet is important for all children.

Breakfast is served between 7.00 am and 8.30am, Lunch at 11.30am & tea 3.30pm.

All meals and snacks are healthy and nutritious and take into account any individual dietary requirements e.g. medical, religious, cultural or special such as vegetarian.

Starting at Nursery and Settling In:

To ensure you feel confident and more relaxed about leaving your child in our care we offer complimentary 'settling in sessions' to enable you and your child to get to know us and develop a good relationship with your child's key person.

The key person will work with you to plan a routine that is based around your child's individual needs. They will also provide you with feedback about your child's day and progress.

Sickness:

We kindly ask that children should not attend nursery if they are suffering from sickness, diarrhoea, an infectious illness or a concerning rash. Should a child become ill whilst at nursery parents will be contacted to collect them as appropriate.

Collection:

Your child's safety is our number one priority. As a result, if any person other than the parent/s is collecting we must be informed who that person is in advance and understand their relationship to the child. We will, under no circumstances, let a child leave the nursery without these prior arrangements being made.
